Trailer for my documentary-narrative that chronicles my journey battling anxiety and depression while on a study abroad trip recorded solely with my iPhone 13 Pro and GoPro Hero8 Black. This project took a little over a year to produce and release, so it is very close to my heart :)

Last fall, I co-directed and produced a short film titled “Writer’s Block” with my classmates for FST 302 at UNCW. This was my official directorial debut, so it was a learning experience, but I am proud of what we accomplished!
TURNING PAIN INTO ART.
In Summer 2024, I teamed up with my friends to create a short narrative titled “The Ghost of Her,” a story that details the effects of survivor’s guilt. I originally wrote this story for a class in 2023 as a way of healing from my own experience with survivor’s guilt with the hope that someone else might be able to relate to this story. It has been an incredible journey making this story come to life and I’m so grateful for all who were involved.

This documentary was born in a film studies capstone course when my friend Reilly and I were tasked with creating a 10-minute film with the theme of water. We originally set out to explore how the ocean is a form of escape from cultural constraints for females, however, it has developed into a story that spans all walks of life.
